Wales has seen the largest property growth since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic out of the four UK nations, according to new data.
The figures released by Rightmove this morning show that asking prices have increased by 14.6% in Wales since March 2020, while the principality has also recorded the highest jump in buyer demand, which is up by 44%.
The stamp duty holiday can be attributed to some of the rapid increase, while property prices also remain relatively affordable.
Our office has experienced first-hand this rise in demand that has resulted in Wales’ property price growth, at least in this region.
Sales Negotiator in our Wrexham branch, Kirsty Perry said,”Over the past 12 months, we’ve seen a dramatic change in demand in the local market. This has seen a huge surge in demand for properties of all types, all across Wrexham, with prices also rising with the demand.”
